Uh Oh!  How will the Gingerbread Cowboy cross the river?

This is a question I ask classes.  We have a lot of fun coming up with answers. 
Here are some of the ideas students have shared with me.

• Hot Air Balloon        
• Jet ski           
• Cut down a tree and float across
• Hippopotamus        
• Airplane        
• Rowboat       
• Sail across on a kite
• Alligator        
• Canoe                       
• Get carried across on the back of an eagle

Now think of your own idea.  Draw a picture to show how he will get across.
